Effective Date: September 2, 2026
These terms set out the basic rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Office5 (the "Company") and users, as well as the conditions and procedures for use, in connection with the use of the K DanJang website, mobile application, and related services (the "Service") provided by the Company.
1. Users are deemed to have agreed to these terms by registering as a member of, or using, the Service.
2. The Company posts these terms on the Service's initial screen or a separate linked screen so that users can easily review them.
3. If a user does not agree to these terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service and cancel their registration.
1. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering an account and must update it without delay if it changes.
2. Users are responsible for securely managing their own account information (password, login credentials, etc.) and may not transfer or lend it to a third party.
3. Users are responsible for all activity occurring through their account. If a user becomes aware of unauthorized use of their account, they must notify the Company immediately.
4. The Company may restrict use of, or delete the registration of, an account that registers false information or violates these terms.
1. The Service is intended for users aged 16 and older. Persons under 16 may not register for the Service.
2. Users must agree to a process confirming that they are 16 years of age or older when registering for the Service.
3. If a user is confirmed to be under 16, the Company may delete the account or restrict use of the Service without prior notice.
1. The Company provides the following services:
2. The Company may change, add to, or discontinue the content of the Service after prior notice.
1. The facial diagnosis, makeup guides, and product recommendations provided by the Service are the results of analysis by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and do not replace an individual expert's judgment.
2. AI analysis results may vary depending on various factors, including the quality, lighting, and angle of the photo provided by the user, and the same diagnosis result may be presented with different wording each time.
3. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI-generated results, and users should use them only as reference information.
4. Information provided by the Service is not a medical diagnosis or dermatological opinion, and users must consult a qualified medical professional if a skin condition or health concern is suspected.
For details, see the separate AI Service Disclaimer.
The Company collects, uses, stores, and destroys users' personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Company's Privacy Policy. In particular, matters concerning the processing of biometric data, including facial photos, are governed by the separate Biometric Data Processing Consent. The Privacy Policy and Biometric Data Processing Consent are posted as documents separate from these terms and form part of these terms.
1. Matters concerning the price, billing cycle, free trial period, and cancellation method for paid services (subscription and pay-per-use) are governed by the separate Subscription Terms.
2. Matters concerning payments made using international payment methods, currency conversion, and related fees are governed by the separate International Payment Terms.
3. Matters concerning refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy.
1. All intellectual property rights related to the Service provided by the Company — including code, design, logos, AI generation logic, and the "K DanJang Yuna" character — belong to the Company.
2. Ownership of facial photos uploaded by users belongs to the user. The Company processes such photos temporarily on the user's own device, only within the scope of providing the Service (facial feature analysis), and does not store them on its servers. However, if a user separately consents to AI training use, their photos are securely stored separately, and deleted immediately upon withdrawal of that consent.
3. Matters concerning content (such as makeup photos) that users voluntarily post on My Page and elsewhere are governed by the separate Community and Content Policy.
4. For details regarding copyright, see the separate Copyright Policy.
1. Users may not engage in any of the following conduct:
2. If the Company determines that a user has engaged in any conduct listed in paragraph 1, whether through its own discovery or through reports or inquiries from other users, it may review the matter and, without prior notice, remove the relevant content or suspend or permanently restrict the account.
3. Upon suspension under paragraph 2, subscription fees and tokens paid by the user will not be refunded, regardless of the reason or degree of fault.
4. A user who disputes a suspension may file an appeal through the Company's contact (kdanjang@kdanjang.com) within 30 days of the suspension, and the Company will review it and notify the user of the outcome. However, filing an appeal does not guarantee withdrawal of the suspension or a refund.
1. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service due to operational or technical necessity.
2. When changing or discontinuing the Service, the Company will announce the reason in advance through the Service's initial screen, email, or similar means. However, notice may be given afterward in unavoidable circumstances, such as urgent system maintenance.
1. Users may request termination of the service agreement (account withdrawal) at any time through the settings menu or by contacting the Company.
2. If a user violates these terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may terminate the service agreement or restrict use after prior notice (or without prior notice in the case of a serious violation under Article 10).
3. Upon termination, any claims or obligations that have already arisen, as well as provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Articles 9, 10, and 14), remain in effect.
1. Disputes between the Company and a user arising from these terms or use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. The Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance for disputes between the Company and a user.
3. However, if a user is a consumer residing outside the Republic of Korea, the above jurisdiction provision does not limit any rights guaranteed to the user under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the user's country of residence, and the user may bring an action in the courts of their country of residence in accordance with applicable law.
1. The Company may change these terms to the extent not in violation of applicable law.
2. If these terms are changed, the Company will announce the changes through the Service's initial screen or email at least 7 days before the effective date (at least 30 days in advance for changes unfavorable to users).
3. If a user continues to use the Service after the effective date of the changed terms, the user is deemed to have agreed to the changed terms.
1. Matters not specified in these terms and the interpretation of these terms are governed by applicable law or customary practice.
2. Even if a provision of these terms is determined to be invalid under applicable law, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
