Table of Contents

Principles

1. Payments for paid products (subscriptions and pay-per-use tokens) of the K DanJang service (the "Service") are processed through our payment processor, Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"). Polar acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions and is responsible for payment and refund processing.

2. Refund eligibility, criteria, and procedures are governed by Polar's refund policy (including the Polar Buyer Terms and Conditions). The Company will cooperate to ensure that users' refund requests are processed smoothly within the scope required by applicable law.

3. Statutory rights guaranteed to users under applicable law (including consumer protection laws relating to e-commerce) are not limited by this policy or Polar's refund policy.

4. Subscription products are not eligible for refunds once payment is completed. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, and even after cancellation, may continue using the Service until the end of the period already paid for.

5. If a user cancels during the free trial period, no fee will be charged.

6. In exceptional circumstances such as duplicate charges or service outages, users may use Contact support or contact the Company (kdanjang@kdanjang.com) to request individual review.

Refund Request Process

1. Users who wish to request a refund may use Contact support or contact the Company (kdanjang@kdanjang.com) for guidance, or may request directly through Polar's customer support (support@polar.sh) or the process described in the receipt received at the time of payment.

2. The Company cooperates by providing information Polar requests for refund review (such as payment history and the period of service availability from the start of use to the time of the refund request). Whether a refund is granted and the refund amount are determined by Polar according to its own criteria, and detailed refund processing records can be confirmed separately through Polar.

3. If a refund is approved, the method and timing of processing are governed by the policies of Polar and the financial institution that issued the user's payment method.

Refunds for App Store Purchases

If payment was made through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, refunds are processed according to that app store's refund policy and procedures, not by the Company or Polar. Users must request refunds through Apple's or Google's customer support.

Refunds upon Account Suspension

1. The Company may suspend an account only where the user has materially violated the Terms of Service or the Community and Content Policy. A "material violation" means a violation of such degree that the service relationship cannot reasonably be maintained, including infringement of another person's rights, interference with the normal operation of the Service, or violation of applicable law.

2. Where an account is suspended under Paragraph 1, the Company shall refund the subscription fee for the remaining service period on a pro-rata basis. However, where the suspension is attributable to the user, the Company may deduct a penalty not exceeding 10% of the refundable amount.

3. Tokens are digital products available for immediate use and are not refunded where an account is suspended under Paragraph 1.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. The Company (Office5) is a business established under the laws of the Republic of Korea and conducts business in the Republic of Korea.

2. Our payment processor, Polar Software, Inc., is a corporation established under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and matters relating to payment and refunds are governed by Polar's terms.
