Effective Date: August 20, 2026
This policy sets out matters relating to copyright and intellectual property in the content of the K DanJang service (the "Service"). This document forms part of the Terms of Service.
Copyright and intellectual property rights in all content related to the Service — including code, design, logos, UI, AI generation logic, databases, the "K DanJang Yuna" character and her voice, and the makeup guide text generated by the Service — belong to the Company (Office5) or to third parties holding valid licenses.
1. The Service's AI diagnosis and makeup guide generation features are based on a database built by analyzing publicly available beauty-related video content.
2. In this process, the Company does not copy or redistribute the expressive elements of the original videos (scenes, audio, editing, etc.). Instead, only the makeup techniques and information mentioned in the videos are extracted and generalized into database form. This constitutes the extraction and generalization of factual and functional information contained within the work, not the reproduction of the original work's expression.
3. The Company does not directly expose the source of training data (channel names, creators, etc.) to users within the Service, and manages information about content creators internally only through generalized tiers.
4. If a specific content creator objects to their content having been used as training data, they may submit their objection through the Company's contact (kdanjang@kdanjang.com), and the Company will review it and take necessary action.
1. Copyright in facial photos uploaded by users for diagnosis belongs to the user. The Company processes these only within the scope of providing the Service (facial feature analysis) and does not redistribute or commercially exploit them.
2. Copyright in photos and videos (such as makeup result shots) voluntarily posted by users on My Page and elsewhere belongs to the user. However, within the scope separately consented to by the user at the time of posting (public visibility settings, consent to marketing use, etc.), the Company may use such content on the Service and in marketing. See the Community and Content Policy for details.
3. Makeup guides generated by the Service for individual users may be freely used by that user for personal purposes, but rights in the underlying AI generation system itself belong to the Company.
1. A rights holder who believes that content posted by a user infringes a third party's copyright may report it to the Company's contact (kdanjang@kdanjang.com), including the following information: identification of the work claimed to be infringed, the location of the infringing content, the reporter's contact information, and a statement that the infringement claim is accurate.
2. Upon receiving a report, the Company may take action to restrict access to or remove the relevant content within a reasonable period.
3. A user whose content has been removed may raise an objection (counter-notice), and the Company will notify the reporter of this. If the reporter fails to prove that legal action has been taken within 10 business days of the notice, the Company may restore the removed content.
4. The account of a user confirmed to have repeatedly infringed copyright may be restricted or suspended under Article 10 of the Terms of Service.
1. The Service may provide links to external sellers, such as on product recommendation screens, and the content and copyright of such external sites belong to their respective operators.
2. The Company is not responsible for the content of external sites.
