Table of Contents

Payment Processor

1. Web payments for the Service are processed through our payment processor, Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar").

2. Polar acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions and handles payment processing, calculation and collection of taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.), and receipt issuance on our behalf.

3. A user's billing statement may show Polar or a related designation rather than Office5.

Currency and Pricing

1. Service prices are generally displayed in US dollars (USD), and the actual amount charged may vary depending on the country and currency of the user's payment method.

2. The exchange rate applied for currency conversion is determined by Polar or the user's card issuer or payment provider at the time of payment, and the Company does not control this.

3. The Company may apply differentiated pricing for certain countries, taking into account factors such as purchasing power.

Fees for Using International Payment Methods

The bank or card issuer of a user's payment method may separately charge a foreign transaction fee. Such fees are determined by each financial institution's policy and are not set or controlled by the Company or Polar.

Taxes

1. Value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), and other applicable taxes relating to use of the Service may be included in the charged amount in accordance with the laws of the user's country of residence.

2. As the Merchant of Record, Polar is responsible for calculating, collecting, and reporting taxes in accordance with the tax laws of the relevant countries.

Right of Withdrawal for EU/EEA Residents

1. Users who are consumers residing in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of payment, in accordance with applicable law (including the Consumer Rights Directive).

2. However, if a user has explicitly consented to use of the Service and a free trial or paid service began immediately upon payment, the right of withdrawal may be limited once the Service has been fully provided, as determined by applicable law.

3. This provision does not limit any separate statutory rights guaranteed to users in other countries, including the Republic of Korea.

Jurisdiction and Protection for International Consumers

1. Disputes relating to these terms and payments are governed by Article 13 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law) of the Terms of Service.

2. Users residing outside the Republic of Korea may continue to exercise rights guaranteed under the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence, and no provision of these terms excludes or limits such rights.

Refunds

Refunds for international payments are governed by our separate Refund Policy and Polar's refund procedures.
