Effective Date: September 2, 2026
This document sets out disclosures to users regarding the nature and limitations of the facial diagnosis, makeup guides, and product recommendations provided using artificial intelligence (AI) technology by Office5 (the "Company"), which operates the K DanJang service (the "Service"). This document forms part of the Terms of Service.
This section applies to all of the following AI-generated outputs provided by the Service:
1. The facial diagnosis and makeup guides provided by the Service are generated by an artificial intelligence/machine learning system, not by a human expert. These results are the product of algorithmic analysis and probabilistic inference, not an individual expert's judgment or opinion.
2. AI-generated makeup guides are designed to be generated with different expressions and composition each time, but identical or similar results may be generated for different users depending on the combination of diagnosis results and today's situation information. The Company does not guarantee that every output will always be unique.
3. AI analysis results are affected by various factors including the quality, lighting, angle, and facial orientation of the user's uploaded photo, and different diagnosis results may be produced for the same person depending on the shooting conditions.
1. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the AI-generated diagnosis results, makeup guides, and product recommendations.
2. Users should use AI-generated results only as reference information and should not rely on them as the sole basis for decisions.
3. Information provided by the Service is not a dermatological or medical diagnosis or opinion, and does not replace consultation with a professional medical institution. If skin trouble, an allergic reaction, or any other health concern is suspected, users must consult a qualified medical professional.
4. The Company is not responsible for outcomes arising from decisions users make based on AI-generated results (such as product purchases or makeup method choices).
1. The Company does not use facial images processed by the Service, or feature information extracted from them, for the purpose of identifying or authenticating individual users.
2. Diagnostic codes extracted from facial photos are values relating to facial morphological features (skin, eye shape, face shape, etc.) only, and are not used to identify or trace back to a user's identity.
3. Specific matters concerning the processing of original facial photos (retention period, automatic deletion, etc.) are governed by the separate Biometric Data Processing Consent.
1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising to users or third parties from use of AI-generated results.
2. Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, the Company's total liability relating to use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of the total amount of fees paid by the user to the Company in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or US $100 (or its equivalent).
3. This provision does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
1. Users are responsible for understanding that AI-generated results provided by the Service are reference information, and for deciding for themselves whether to ultimately act on them.
2. Before using cosmetics or beauty products, users should check the ingredient list of individual products and take appropriate precautions, such as a patch test, if skin irritation or an allergic reaction is a concern.
3. Users must provide their own actual facial photo for diagnosis, and the Company is not responsible for inaccurate diagnosis results arising from providing another person's photo or a distorted or composited image.
1. Makeup guide text and voice generated by the Service for an individual user may be used personally by that user within the scope of using the Service.
2. However, all intellectual property rights in the AI generation logic, prompt structure, database, and the underlying system on which such outputs are based belong to the Company.
3. Users may not redistribute or resell AI-generated content for commercial purposes, or provide it to third parties without the Company's prior written consent.
4. Users may not use AI content generated by the Service (such as makeup guide text or voice) for training, fine-tuning, or similar purposes involving other artificial intelligence models.
5. The Company does not use a user's facial photos or diagnostic data extracted from them for AI model training or improvement purposes without the user's separate consent. However, an exception applies where de-identified, aggregated data is used for the purpose of statistical service improvement, and even in this case such data is processed only in a form that cannot identify the user.
1. The AI character "K DanJang Yuna," who interacts with users in the Service, is a virtual, AI-based character and not a real person.
2. The Company provides a persistent, identifiable marking (an AI badge) on any screen where AI-generated text or voice content is displayed.
